Aras Zamani, born and raised in Hannover, Germany, is the son of Persian refugees who discovered his passion for music at the age of 14. What began as a hobby quickly evolved into a serious pursuit when he moved to the United States at 17 to attend high school and college. During this time, he began writing in English and released his first mixtape, Ayzee Doez It.
After returning to Germany four years later, he released two more mixtapes, Time Will Tell and Ayzee Still Doez It. His growing presence in Hannover led to an exciting opportunity to open for Ryan Leslie in front of a crowd of over 1,000 people, thanks to DJ Barzan.
In 2019, Aras made a significant shift back to German music and released his debut EP, A.R.A.S (short for "Alle Reden Aber Schlafen"), which was well-received in the underground scene. During the pandemic, he continued to engage with his audience through freestyles on Instagram, catching the attention of O2 Telefonica, who invited him to perform in their live streams alongside other newcomers.
Seeking to further his music career, Aras moved to Berlin, where he connected with Budde Music. His first writing session was with Mike Singer, leading to a number one album award for his adaptation of "Forever Young" by Alphaville. He also participated in the rap contest Hast du Bars, hosted by the influential German rap artist Bushido, and won, releasing a freestyle and single on his platform.
Since then, Aras has focused on songwriting for various artists and commercials and established his co-publishing venture, Edition241, in collaboration with Budde Music. He has written for both German and international artists across genres, including pop, rap, punk rock, and reggae, accumulating over 100 million streams. Currently, he is working on new releases with Namika , Günes and Milano and has signed singer and actor Yonii to his label, with his new album in the works.
